From The baseLINE this Modal Singlet Top or Camisole Top is made in Italy from 95% Modal, a great thermal garment for women who are looking for something more modern than an older-style spencer garment.
Modal is a soft fibre made from beech trees, and generally considered a more eco-friendly alternative to cotton and more durable due to the finer knit of the fabric. It is incredibly smooth and soft to touch but also breathable and absorbent. Elastane making up the remaining 5% gives it the stretch-ability that ensures a comfortable fit. Modal is moisture-wicking and quick drying and so a great thermal option for women who love to travel.
The smooth finish has a slight sheen, and can be worn alone or under a jacket or jumper for additional warmth and comfort. A soft lace trim on the shoulder straps and across the neckline and back, adds a touch of classic elegance.
Our EGI Friends - Starting in a small laboratory in Chions, Italy in 1966, EGI underwear has been produced in Italy by the many generations of the Bressan family, passing on the traditions in manufacturing high quality under garments.

Care Instructions:
Cotton + Modal
Your cotton, modal, or natural fabrics are made to feel soft, breathable, and effortlessly comfortable – the kind of pieces you’ll reach for night after night. To keep them in perfect condition, we recommend hand washing in cool to warm water with a gentle detergent.
If you prefer to machine wash, use a cool, delicate cycle, a mesh laundry bag, and wash with similar colours to prevent pilling or fading. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents. Dry flat or on a line in the shade to keep them fresh, and avoid tumble drying for longevity. With the right care, these natural fabrics will stay luxuriously soft and looking lovely for years to come.
