These luxurious warm socks are made with fine 19 micron Australian merino wool blended with Peruvian baby alpaca. Fine merino wool has a 98% comfort factor which means it will not prickle or itch sensitive skin. Wool is particularly good in cold weather because of its insulating effect. Baby alpaca is soft, supple and smooth and contains microscopic air pockets which are great for keeping warmth in. These socks are not recommended for high abrasion use such as in work boots.
